If there are garages, storage rooms or rooms added to the platform that can be rented as annexes/accessories to homes or as independent entities, you can associate or disassociate them from the homes. In the case of rooms, we do not recommend creating the rooms as independent entities unless, when managing the initial configuration, the onboarding team has recommended you to add them as such. Append garages and storage rooms to houses
If you will start renting a garage or storage room as an annex to a house that until now was rented as a separate entity, you can attach it by following the steps explained below. Once attached, the garage and storage room will be archived, so many of the property's features will be inactive. You can find out which features are available and which are not when annexing, and therefore archiving, a property in the following article.
To append a garage or storage room, go to the Properties tab on the left menu and click on the card of the garage or storage room to be attached to a house.
In the Property Details menu, click on the three dots on the left side of the screen and click on Append.
Once you've clicked Append you will be asked:

What type of annex this property is. It doesn't matter the original type of property, the annex type will be the one chosen here.
Once you click on Append, the garage or storage room will appear as archived and as an attachment within the chosen main house.
How to display the appended garages and storage rooms
To check which appended garages and storage rooms have been added to a house, in the Properties tab of the menu on the left, click on the card of the property to which the annexed property belongs.
Inside the property, in the Details section there is a Stays section. There you can see the rooms, garages and storage rooms that belong to the property. To distinguish the the garages and storage rooms that have been created directly in the property from the appended ones, the attached rooms will have an Appended label on their card. In the case of storage rooms, garages and rooms created by hand within the property, they will not indicate that.
By clicking on the card of the property you will be able to edit the address information, number or cadastral reference. These changes will be reflected in the independent property if the appendage is cancelled in the future.
How to cancel the appendage of the garage or storeroom to the house
To separate a garage or storage room appended to a house because it will be rented separately, go to the Properties tab in the menu on the left and click on the card of the house where the garages or storage rooms are attached.
In the Stays section of the menu, expand the option Storerooms, Garages or Rooms in the property. Click on the three dots and select Independence stay on the garage or storage room to be displayed as an independent building. This can be done with both independent properties converted into appendages and stays first created within the property as stays.
