Control the tenants' check-in and out

Control and request the tenants information on their check-in and check-out of the property

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When adding or editing a rental contract, it is possible to indicate and request to the tenants the dates and times of their check-in and check-out from the rented property. To do this, go to the Properties tab on the left menu and click on the card of the property where to manage the check-in or check-out.

Once in the property menu, go to the Contracts section and click on See Details the contract where you will add the check-in and check-out settings. If the contract card is not yet created, you can see how to do it in the following article.

In the upper-menu in this page, there are two tabs: check-in and check-out. Click whichever you wish to set.

In the check-in/out tabs click on New check-in/out on the upper-right side of the tab.

Once you've clicked New check-in/out two optiosn will appear, Register and Request check-in/out.

Register check-in or check-out

The Register feature allows you to fill in the day and time the tenant plans to check-in or out and the cleaning status previous to it. If you include a future date, an event will automatically create in the calendar as a reminder.

Request tenant check-in or check-out

If you'd rather have the tenant indicate the date and time when they will check-in or check-out, a form will appear to specify:

  • How many days before the beginning or end of the contract -depending on whether its a check-in or check-out -you'd like this request to arrive to the tenant.

  • What concept and message will be sent to the tenant

  • How often reminders should be sent until they fill-in the check-in and out form.

  • Expiration day for a reply.

The tenant will receive an email to fill in with the date and time of arrival or departure of the property in the date specified. It will not be necessary to invite them to access the platform or give them any kind of access to receive this specific notification.
